“By Him all things consist”
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. - Colossians 1:17
Jesus Christ is our Creator and the fact that we still exist is for His will and purpose to be fulfilled. That means that anything we do on this earth must be to work towards fulfilling that will. This is our duty as service to our Master and Creator!.
Many times though, we forget the purpose of why we were created because the world tends to pull us in. Let our focus be on that cross where our Savior died to call us back into His presence. Let us constantly be reminded of that blood that washed our sins away, cleansed us and purified us to be called as the sons of the Living God.
When we consider that wonderful sacrifice and ponder on that abundant love of our Creator, and when we stay focused on the fact that we exist in Him and for Him, how much more are we supposed to surrender all of what we do, and all of what we are, for His sake!
Let us strive towards obeying His commands and serving Him in everything we do. Let the world know who their Creator is, and introduce them to the joy that we have in knowing this Creator personally.
