The eyes that see everything

“Where shall I go from your spirit? Where shall I flee from your presence?”

“Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!” – John 1:47

There are certain instances written in the gospels where we see Jesus Christ surprised by the faith of some people. Here we see Christ Himself giving a beautiful and a true testimony about a person He has never met in the flesh.

Jesus sees each one of us and knows who we are even more than what we know about ourselves. What will be Christ’s testimony of you when He speaks of you to the Father? Do you think He is confident of your faith?

We occasionally forget that we are constantly being watched. We may be able to hide from the world, but the eyes of the Lord are upon us.

David realizing this says,

“Wither shall I go from thy spirit? Or wither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.” – Psalms 139:7-8

“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro through the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” – 2 Chronicles 16:9

The Lord is not looking to judge us based on our mistakes. He knows that we are not perfect, but He looks at our hearts. He is eager to show Himself strong through you, but is your heart perfect toward Him?
