The Father's Fellowship

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour,
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
— Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (KJV)

This is the Father’s fellowship, in which we are to be there for our fellow brethren.

In our daily lives, we all tend to give quite a lot of suggestions and opinions to our fellow brothers or friends when we find something that may not be favorable in some way.

The question to ask ourselves is, what have we actually ‘done’ about it, and not what we have ‘said’? Notice that it says, “For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow”. That means that one doesn’t simply suggest ways for the other person to lift himself up, but one lifts the other.

Helping a person out in their time of need goes a long way than opinions. This is what the Lord says in Mathew 5:51,

“And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain”.

Are we ready to go the extra mile to help a brother or a friend out? How thankful are we for the people who have lifted us up when we fell?

The Father’s fellowship never leaves a person alone. It walks with them, guides them and even carries them when they cannot move forward.
