Faithfulness in God's call here
Today God wants me here. That’s why I’m here.
The question is if I am doing what He wants me to do here.
Am I faithful to God’s calling for me in this place?
Do I grumble and complain about the circumstances I’m in?
Do I tell God to send me somewhere else to do a good ministry?
If I’m not faithful to His call here, what assurance is there that I’ll do better in another place?
When waiting the tables at Jerusalem, Philip, ‘full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom’ (Acts 6:3) did not grumble or complain that he could have been doing something better. He didn’t consider relocating to a better place where he’ll be used better.
In Samaria, Philip preached the Gospel. God saw him as the man to send to Gaza.
In every place God sent him, he was faithful to his calling as an evangelist.
