If God permit

“And this will we do, if God permit.” - Hebrews 6:3

Having become the children of God, we are to follow the words and commands of our Father in Heaven. Our lives are to be dictated as per what the Spirit of God tells us to do and guides us through.

So if we plan to do something, we should first seek God’s guidance and permission for that. This is because we need to know what the Father’s will is and divert our needs and wishes to that direction, and not in our own ways.

Do you do everything by seeking permission from your Father in Heaven? Or do you plan and execute certain things and expect Him to bend His will according to your needs?

We should be very careful in making decisions.

Every gift that God has bestowed upon us is for the expansion of His Kingdom and to edify His people. If we use these gifts for our personal gains and without His permission, then God can and will use someone else in our stead to carry out His perfect plan, and the gift that we think gives us much value in life may be taken away from us.

So let this be our phrase from today, “And this will we do, if God permit.”
