“But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world” - Galatians 6:14

We do not have anything to boast about. Our salvation is purely by the mercies of our Lord Jesus Christ which He demonstrated on the cross, and our glory is in that cross.

When our glory is in the cross, it is no longer we that live, but Christ through us because we are in Him. This means that the world no longer has a hold on us, and we are dead to the world, like how Christ is.

Are we ready to accept the fact that the world is crucified to us? Can we confirm that we do not walk according to the world anymore? Can we proclaim that the worldly pleasures have no place in our hearts? And that Christ is the center of our lives?

May God enable us to glory in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ!
