Joel Jacob

Do not walk in darkness

So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,

being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart;

Ephesians 4:17-18 (NASB)

The Lord strengthens hearts

O Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their heart, You will incline Your ear

To vindicate the orphan and the oppressed, so that man who is of the earth will no longer cause terror.

Psalms 10:17-18 (NASB)

Be gracious to me

Be gracious to me, O Lord; See my affliction from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death,

That I may tell of all Your praises, That in the gates of the daughter of Zion I may rejoice in Your salvation.

Psalms 9:13-14 (NASB)

The Righteous God

The Lord judges the peoples; Vindicate me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and my integrity that is in me.

O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; For the righteous God tries the hearts and minds.

Psalms 7:8-9 (NASB)

Justified as a gift

But now apart form the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,

even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;

Romans 3:21-24 (NASB)

Anchor of the soul

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil,

where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews 6:19-20 (NASB)
